Jim Potts
· Over 40 years in the livestock business starting as a slaughter cattle buyer in the early 60,s to a livestock order buyer of slaughter cattle and feeders from 1975 to the present.
· Started Great Plains Commodities in 1985 as a resource to aid customers with their feed and grain hedging needs.
· Active over the years as a cattle feeder, feeding in Minnesota, Iowa, Nebraska, and Wisconsin.
· Located in the South St. Paul Stockyards until 1995 when we moved to a small town on the border of Minnesota and Wisconsin.

Joe Teale
· 31 years in the Futures Industry
· Former member of the Chicago Mercantile Exchange
· Born and raised in Lincoln, Nebraska and still owning a farm in the Lincoln area.
· Writes an article for the Land magazine and also gives comments on KRVNradio in Lexington, Nebraska. and KICD radio in Spencer, Iowa.
